English coaching for professionals in Belgium
One-to-one English coaching for executives, international professionals, doctors and exam candidates who need English to do something specific: lead a meeting, present clearly, move abroad, pass an exam or work more comfortably in an international environment.
You may already use English every week and still feel that it becomes weaker when the situation matters. A difficult question comes up. You have to explain a complex point quickly. The conversation moves faster than expected. Or you know exactly what you mean in your own language but cannot say it with the same precision in English.
That is the kind of gap we work on.
What do you actually need to do in English?
The answer matters more than choosing a course name. A manager preparing for a regional presentation has a different problem from a doctor preparing for OET, even if both have the same general level of English.

IELTS and OET preparation
For candidates who need a score for professional registration, international mobility, study or another defined next step.
- Diagnostic before deciding where to spend your time.
- Targeted work on weaker skills.
- Speaking and Writing feedback.
- Exam strategy and timed practice.
- Preparation around a realistic deadline.
The language around the table may change. Your English still has to hold up.
Many workplaces in Belgium are multilingual by default. English may be the language used to connect colleagues who otherwise work in French, Dutch or another language. The same person may move between a local conversation, an international meeting and a call with headquarters during the same working day.
That creates a different problem from simply “learning English”. You need English that remains clear when people speak quickly, when accents vary and when you do not have time to build the perfect sentence before speaking.
| Situation | What tends to matter |
|---|---|
| International meetings | Getting to the point, entering the discussion at the right moment, disagreeing professionally and understanding different accents. |
| Presentations | Explaining the message behind the slide, handling questions and staying clear when you have to speak without a script. |
| Management communication | Giving direction, explaining decisions and sounding appropriately senior without relying on unnecessarily complicated language. |
| Written communication | Writing emails, updates and reports that are concise, professional and easy for an international reader to follow. |
| Career moves | Interviews, networking and explaining your experience without making your actual level of seniority disappear behind hesitant English. |

Brussels creates its own set of communication demands because so much work happens across languages, nationalities and organisations. These pages go deeper into individual needs rather than repeating the same general advice.

We need to hear the problem before deciding what you should study.
Two people with the same level can need completely different programmes. One may speak comfortably but write poorly. Another may understand almost everything yet disappear in meetings because speaking still requires too much mental effort.
Understand the goal
We start with what is happening in real life: your role, exam, deadline and the situations where English becomes a problem.
Find the actual gap
It may be speaking speed, structure, pronunciation, vocabulary, Writing, confidence or a combination of several smaller issues.
Practise what you use
Whenever possible, the work reflects situations you genuinely face: meetings, presentations, interviews, clinical communication or exam tasks.
Correct and repeat
Knowing what you should say is only the first stage. Repetition makes the better version available when there is no time to think.
The objective is not to finish a textbook. It is to make English less of a constraint on the work or professional move you are already trying to make.
Your profession changes what useful practice looks like.
Executives and managers
The work tends to centre on concise answers, decision-making, presentations, difficult conversations and the ability to sound as senior in English as you already are professionally.
Specialists and international professionals
You may need to explain complex work to people outside your field, contribute more actively in meetings or communicate with colleagues who do not share your first language.
Doctors and healthcare professionals
Clinical English requires precision, but it also requires simple explanations, empathy and the ability to communicate under pressure with patients and colleagues.
Common questions
Is this only for people in Brussels?
No. This is the broader Belgium page. Brussels has separate pages because the city has a particularly international professional environment, but online coaching can work for professionals elsewhere in Belgium as well.
Can I do this while working full-time?
Yes. In fact, most professional coaching needs to fit around work. The important question is not whether you can study for hours every day, but whether you can practise consistently and apply what we work on between sessions.
Is this Business English or general English?
It depends on what you need. If English is primarily a work tool, the programme can focus almost entirely on professional communication. If your overall level is limiting you, broader language work may also be necessary.
Can you help with IELTS or OET?
Yes. Exam preparation is separate from general professional coaching because IELTS and OET have specific formats, scoring criteria and time-pressure problems. We first look at the score you need and where you are currently losing marks.
Do you work with EU-related professionals?
Yes. Professionals working around EU institutions, public affairs, international organisations and related sectors often need particularly precise English for meetings, drafting, presentations and stakeholder communication.
Do I need advanced English before starting?
Not necessarily. The useful starting point depends on the objective. Someone preparing for a highly demanding executive role may need a stronger base than someone who needs help with a narrower professional situation. The initial conversation helps determine whether the coaching is a good fit.
What do you need to be able to do in English?
Maybe you need to speak more confidently in meetings. Maybe there is an interview or presentation coming up. Perhaps you need IELTS or OET, or your new role simply demands more English than your previous one did.
