English for Intercultural Communication

What is the English Lesson for Intercultural Communication?

A program with the object of teaching you to act in a way that is aware and respectful of the cultural differences of those with whom you converse.

Who is it for?
  • Individuals: for executives, entrepreneurs, lawyers, politicians, doctors, dentists, actors, speakers and engineers;
  • Companies: for groups of up to 4 professionals.

What are the goals?

Demonstrating how well you understand the idiosyncrasies of language, culture (corporate and national) and behavior could be your passport to success in international business relationships.
The aim is to bridge the cultural divide to discuss:

  • Socializing in the world of business;
  • English booby traps: the same word, different meanings;
  • Humor as a negotiating tool;
  • Different countries, different power structures: tips and taboos.

Where are taught?

At your company (or chosen location) or at the Institute of Languages Rodrigo Faria.
